A New Road to a Great View
November 2001
We finally found a great view on our property.
To get the road there, we're selling timber--two small clear-cuts for
meadows,
and a lot of thinning to improve the saw-timber trees 20+ years down the
road.

This is where the road splits.
Old road down to campsite is on the right;
new road to knoll is on the left.

It's hard to take a good picture into the sun!

It's a lot easier with the sun to your back!

This is the view towards Clifton Forge and Rainbow Gap.
Part of the first ridge in the foreground is also on our property.

This is a wide 360-degree panorama from the cleared site. (About 18 photos
"stiched" together.)
